Beekeeping Story:
- Got my first two hives in 1999. Continued as a hobbyist beekeeper until 2014 when we expanded from 6 hives to 20 hives and began breeding queens & selling nucs. We have maintained as many as 50 colonies. Now keeping about 25 hives.
- 10+ year (now Life) member of the Southeastern Indiana Beekeepers Association.
- Currently serving as Vice President of the SIBA Board of Directors.
- Life member of The Beekeepers of Indiana.
- 5+ year Member of Indiana Queen Breeders Association.
Occupation:
- 35 year career in manufacturing equipment and facilities maintenance management. Currently; Regional Operations Manager for Brighton Mills, Inc.
Other:
- Along with my wife (Robin), owners of Hoosier Creek Farm LLC, in Franklin Co., south of Brookville, Indiana.
- Chairman of Cemetery operations for Creekside Church at Klemme’s Corner
- Co-owner of the Cross The Line 15/24 Podcast LLC.
